Vietnaam specializes in a variety of meals that cater to every palate. With a menu highlighting savory poultry dishes like the Red Curry Chicken—slices of tender white meat chicken simmered in a fragrant red curry and coconut milk sauce—or the aromatic Ginger Duck, featuring succulent duck sautéed with shiitake mushrooms and fresh vegetables, each bite is an explosion of flavor. Seafood lovers will be enchanted by the Vietnamese Seafood Bouillabaisse, a rich and spicy broth brimming with crab claw, mussels, and shrimp that offers a taste of the sea like no other.

For a more casual yet equally satisfying experience, don't miss out on their Banh Mi sandwiches. The Lemongrass Pork Sandwich is a local favorite, crafted from flavorful marinated pork, fresh veggies, and a homemade baguette that’s crisp on the outside and soft within. Each sandwich is a balanced harmony of exquisite tastes and textures, and the Crispy Shrimp Sandwich is equally compelling, boasting perfectly cooked shrimp enveloped in a delightful crunch.

The takeaway experience at Vietnaam is straightforward yet satisfying, as the restaurant currently operates on a takeout-only model. Customers rave about the efficient service and the flexibility of the online ordering platform, which allows modifications like no onions or extra spice. As one satisfied patron, Kay, noted, the quality ingredients shine through without being overly oily.

A common theme in the reviews is the exceptionally fresh and flavorful sandwiches. Bradley C raves about the crispy bread and expertly seasoned fillings, underscoring the quality you can expect at Vietnaam. Others, like Danielle Violante, point out the delicate balance of flavors in the fish banh mi, calling it the best fish sandwich of a lifetime!

Great-quality ingredients, not too oily, and very flexible if you order on their website (love that I can make changes, e.g. no onions).

I love their sandwiches, fried rices, and laksa! I always get the pork belly sandwich or the chicken thigh sandwich with a fried rice. The bread is fresh and crispy on the outside. The seasoning is always spot on! Everything is so tasty here. Too bad the dine in option is still not available. Edit 1: I haven’t been back for almost a year. I got the pork belly sandwich (ban mi), and it was still very delicious.

Long time customer since they were Saigon Grill. Food is consistent and delicious with a bonus for pick up orders which is a nice touch. Best Vietnamese food in the area. Highly recommend their crispy spring rolls (Nem) and Laksa soup.

Food was pretty good! Ordered takeout of their pho and I really enjoyed their soup base more. The spring rolls wasn’t too bad but it was a big portion size! There is no inside seating, ONLY takeout option. I would come back next time

Just a take out spot but this sandwich was delicious. Chicken was tender, vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The sauce was amazing.

They’re still take out only, but the take out is so good…. They give discounts for takeout (so all the time), and an additional discount for lunch time. Prices look a bit high on their website, but with a 10% + 15% discount during lunch times, it can be very reasonable. I would definitely recommend any of their banh mi’s, especially the lemongrass pork. The buns are nice and fluffy, they are very generous with the protein, and the pickled veggies are amazing as well. If you want an amazing starter, the beef satay is both delicious, and basically a meal on its own. They also clearly label gluten free, which is a huge plus for celiacs.

Fish banh mi is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The fish is SUPER fresh and tender/flakey, the fish fillet breading is not too thick, the fresh made house baguette is soft (not stale at all), the pickled carrots also tasted fresh and not like they’ve been sitting around like other banh mi spots. Love they have a wide delivery radius and go downtown. The fried chicken banh mi is flavorful too but spicy.

The pork belly bun xao ($19.80 plus tax) and the crispy tofu skin roll ($10.80) are very tasty. The main drawback of ordering a deep-fried dish is that you lose the crunch as the food steams in the container while in transit. I wish they would bring back dine-in service.
